Lead Full-Stack Engineer
What you'll do
- You build features completely independently, from database to frontend and mobile (React with Zustand & Tailwind, Node.js, PostgreSQL, React Native)
- You report to and spar with our fractional CTO regarding complex architectural choices and the technical roadmap
- Because we deal with personal data, you consider GDPR and security with every line of code
- You receive clear functional input and context from the CPO, so you can focus on the best technical translation of the requirements
- You set a high bar for quality and set up the CI/CD strategy. In the short term, you will help to further build out a full development team
- You analyze the existing code and strategically determine what we 'upcycle' and what we rebuild from scratch
About you
- You are an experienced builder who prefers thoughtful pragmatism over perfectionism
- You feel comfortable in a modern TypeScript environment and think in terms of business impact
- You have 4-5 years of experience as a Full-Stack TypeScript developer with a focus on quality, performance, and scalability
- You have in-depth knowledge of React, Node.js (Fastify/Express), and SQL databases (PostgreSQL/Prisma). Knowledge of React Native or DevOps (Docker/GitLab) is a strong plus
- You have a strong customer value mindset. You don't blindly build what is asked but dare to challenge features that don't meet the bar
- You speak fluent Dutch and professional English
What we offer
- You get the freedom to build a modern architecture without the ambiguity of a blank page. You use the proven logic of our existing platform as a blueprint to build a scalable 2.0 environment
- Your code is used daily by thousands of end-users. You have direct contact with management, and decisions are made quickly
- You start as our foundational engineer and will naturally grow into a Team Lead role. You will not only set the technical standard but also have the mandate to hire, onboard, and lead the future team
- The role includes a competitive salary package including extra-legal benefits and a budget for training and conferences
- A hybrid arrangement with at least 3 days per week at our office in the Ghent region
Ready to determine the technical direction?
Send your CV to hello@skedle.be (attn: Olivier Neutens) and briefly answer these two questions:
- Why do you consider yourself a 'product-minded' engineer?
- Give an example of a feature or request you challenged or rejected because it didn't solve the actual problem.
Account Executive (Healthcare & Health)
What you'll do
- Outbound exploration: You identify potential customers in the broad healthcare sector. You warm up potential leads and visit them to discover where the greatest need is
- Product-Market Fit validation: You are the eyes and ears in the market. Where are healthcare institutions getting stuck? What features are we still missing? Your feedback directly determines the development roadmap
- Complex Stakeholder Management: You navigate through complex decision structures (directors, head nurses, HR, boards of directors). You are the guide who leads them through the purchasing process
- Deal Closing: You build your own pipeline from 'cold' to 'closed'. Because we don't have partnerships here yet, you are the engine of growth
About you
- You have 4-5 years of experience in outbound B2B sales. Experience in the healthcare sector is not a must, but intellectual curiosity to understand the sector is
- Challenger Mindset: You dare to challenge the status quo with the customer. You ask sharp questions and dig into the real pain behind 'we've been doing it this way for years'
- Creativity and flexibility: You start in a new vertical. That means testing, failing, adjusting and trying again. You handle this creatively and are flexible in how you approach things
- Independence: You don't wait for leads from marketing. You go get them yourself
What we offer
- Entrepreneurship within a scale-up: You essentially build a 'company within the company'. You determine the go-to-market strategy for healthcare
- High OTE (On-Target Earnings): We believe in a model where sales pays for itself. We offer a market-competitive base package (or freelance rate) with an uncapped commission plan. Do you close the big deals? Then you see that directly reflected in your account
- Direct impact: You work directly with the CEO and product team to dot the i's for your customers and prospects in healthcare
- Flexibility: A hybrid arrangement with our office in the Ghent region as home base
Ready to put your shoulders under our story?
Send your CV to hello@skedle.be (attn: Olivier Neutens) and briefly answer these two questions:
- How would you approach your first 30 days to find traction in a sector where we still have few leads?
- Why do you see yourself as a 'hunter' who thrives in an environment with a lot of uncertainty?
Account Executive (Hospitality & Events)
What you'll do
- Strategic outbound: You map the market of major players (catering, events, retail). You build your own pipeline and break through to decision makers (COO, HR Director, Owner)
- Closing: You're not selling a simple β¬50/month license. You manage sales cycles with multiple stakeholders. You build custom business cases and references that prove how Skedle saves tens of thousands of euros in administration and labor costs
- Consultative selling: Hospitality and retail revolves around trust. You think along with their operational flow and show how Skedle replaces and improves their current way of working (often Excel or complex or outdated tools)
- Ambassadorship: You are present at relevant networking events and trade shows. You are the face of Skedle for the top of the market
About you
- You have at least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS or to the Hospitality/Event sector. You know how to build a solid case and help customers decide
- Network: You ideally already have connections with large caterers, hospitality players or event organizers
- Challenger mindset: You dare to ask critical questions to an owner/CEO. You're not afraid to challenge the customer's 'status quo' to make them see the value of Skedle
- Independence: You don't need micro-management. You are responsible for your own results and forecast
- Language: You speak and write fluent Dutch and professional English. French is a plus for national customers
What we offer
- Ownership: You manage the most important deals of the company. There is no ceiling on who you can approach
- High OTE (On-Target Earnings): We believe in a model where sales pays for itself. We offer a market-competitive base package (or freelance rate) with an uncapped commission plan. Do you close the big deals? Then you see that directly reflected in your account
- Direct impact: You work in a flat structure with direct lines to management and development. Your input from the market is heard
- Flexibility: A hybrid arrangement with our office in the Ghent region as home base
Ready to put your shoulders under our story?
Send your CV to hello@skedle.be (attn: Olivier Neutens) and briefly answer these two questions:
- What is the largest deal (in value or complexity) you have ever closed independently, and what was the key to success?
- How do you approach a 'cold' prospect who says: 'We've been working with Excel for years and that works fine'?
