Account Executive (Hospitality & Events)

Skedle is one of the fastest-growing workforce planning platforms in Belgium. Over 500 companies rely on us daily to organize their staff planning and optimize payroll costs. We have proven our product-market fit in events and hospitality. Now we're shifting up a gear. We're targeting the 'big players': large caterers, festival organizers and retail chains.

What you'll do

  • Strategic outbound: You map the market of major players (catering, events, retail). You build your own pipeline and break through to decision makers (COO, HR Director, Owner).
  • Closing: You're not selling a simple €50/month license. You manage sales cycles with multiple stakeholders. You build custom business cases and references that prove how Skedle saves tens of thousands of euros in administration and labor costs.
  • Consultative selling: Hospitality and retail revolves around trust. You think along with their operational flow and show how Skedle replaces and improves their current way of working (often Excel or complex or outdated tools).
  • Ambassadorship: You are present at relevant networking events and trade shows. You are the face of Skedle for the top of the market.

About you

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS or to the Hospitality/Event sector. You know how to build a solid case and help customers decide.
  • Network: You ideally already have connections with large caterers, hospitality players or event organizers.
  • Challenger mindset: You dare to ask critical questions to an owner/CEO. You're not afraid to challenge the customer's 'status quo' to make them see the value of Skedle.
  • Independence: You don't need micro-management. You are responsible for your own results and forecast.
  • Language: You speak and write fluent Dutch and professional English. French is a plus for national customers.

  • High OTE (On-Target Earnings): We believe in a model where sales pays for itself. We offer a market-competitive base package (or freelance rate) with an uncapped commission plan. Do you close the big deals? Then you see that directly reflected in your account.
  • Direct impact: You work in a flat structure with direct lines to management and development. Your input from the market is heard.
  • Flexibility: A hybrid arrangement with our office in the Ghent region as home base.
